Biography

My work is largely inspired by the natural world, landscapes, the sea and the sky, allowing the viewer their personal imagination. 

Using mainly acrylic paint, I am interested in the painting process and the manipulation of the medium whilst exploring and developing new techniques and materials.

Born in Germany I live and work mainly in Sussex.  Coming from the History of Architecture as an educational background and producing technical drawings in working life, I started painting as a hobby and attended a number of art courses.  Since 2020 I am a member of Horsham Artists, a group who exhibits regularly in the South of England.
